These terms are effective as of the date they are posted on the Backtest Triage website.

1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and use of Backtest Triage LITE, an educational digital workbook sold by Louis Musto through louismusto.com (referred to here as "Backtest Triage," "we," or "us"). By purchasing Backtest Triage LITE, by confirming your agreement to these terms at checkout, or by using the workbook, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the workbook.

2. What Backtest Triage LITE is
Backtest Triage LITE is a downloadable educational workbook. Your purchase includes the LITE workbook, the Quick Start Guide, and the Sample Filled Example. You enter your own backtest figures, and the workbook compares those figures against basic thresholds that are published in full on the workbook’s Scoring Rules tab. It then reports a basic review status, a review evidence level, and any basic flags, using arithmetic applied to the figures you provide. The workbook does not evaluate your trading strategy, and it produces the same result for any user who enters the same figures.

3. Educational and informational use only
Backtest Triage LITE is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, legal advice, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any market, security, futures contract, option, cryptocurrency, or other financial instrument. Backtest Triage does not provide trading signals, manage any account, or trade on your behalf.

4. No guarantee of results
Past, simulated, hypothetical, and backtested results do not guarantee future performance. Backtest Triage LITE does not predict future trading results, guarantee profitability, approve or validate any strategy, recommend live trading, or determine whether any strategy is safe or suitable for live trading. Any decision you make about your trading is yours alone.

5. Your inputs and your responsibility
The workbook’s results reflect only the figures you enter. Backtest results can be incomplete, misleading, or overfit, and can be affected by assumptions such as commissions, slippage, market conditions, data quality, and differences in execution. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for your own testing and risk management, and for every trading decision you make.

6. Customer support
If you contact support, we can explain how the workbook works, including how to enter your figures and how to read your results. We do not review, assess, or comment on your particular strategy or backtest, and we cannot tell you whether your results are good, whether a strategy is worth trading, or whether you should trade. Questions of that kind will be directed back to the workbook and its published criteria.

7. License and permitted use
Backtest Triage LITE is licensed, not sold, to the original purchaser for personal use in reviewing and organizing your own trading backtests. You may not resell, redistribute, upload, share, copy, sublicense, or include the workbook in any other product, service, paid group, course, or membership without our written permission. Backtest Triage LITE and its contents are the property of Louis Musto and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Refunds
Backtest Triage LITE is a digital product delivered electronically, and all sales are final once the product has been delivered, except in the limited situations described in our Refund Policy or where a refund is required by law. The Refund Policy is incorporated into these terms by reference and is available on our website.

9. United States customers
Backtest Triage LITE is offered to and intended for customers located in the United States. By purchasing, you represent that you are located in the United States. We do not market or tailor the workbook to customers outside the United States, and any purchase made from outside the United States is made on your own initiative and at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Backtest Triage and Louis Musto will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any trading or financial losses, arising out of or relating to your use of Backtest Triage LITE or any decision you make in reliance on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Backtest Triage LITE will not exceed the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you, including any non-waivable rights you have under consumer-protection law.

11. Right to refuse or cancel
We may refuse or cancel an order that we reasonably believe is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or made in violation of these terms. If we cancel an order for which you have paid and no exception in the Refund Policy applies, we will refund the amount you paid for that order.

12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Continued use of the workbook after an update means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This provision does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law of the place where you live.
